For the third year, the Malpensa North District, has promoted the Shop window contest.
80 dealers have been created a thematic arrangement for Christmas , making a charming atmosphere in their street and giving a coordinated image to their cities.

GRANDE RISPOSTA ALLA PRESENTAZIONE DELLE VIE DELLA CIVILTA’

Decolla il progetto varesino LE VIE DELLA CIVILTA’: un’iniziativa che permetterà di far conoscere in Italia e all’estero le peculiarità della nostra provincia. Alla prima conferenza di presentazione del Club di Prodotto, svoltasi nella splendida dimora di Villa Giuliana a Golasecca, l’affluenza di pubblico è stata superiore alle aspettative. Erano presenti le associazioni di categoria (Confcommercio, Confartigianato, Confindustria, Univa), i cinque soci fondatori (Alessandra Ferrè di Dimora Villa Giuliana, Piero Ariotto del Residence Paradeisos, Pierettore Brandazza della omonima azienda agricola e Luca Beltramini della Beltramini & Gianoli, tutti di Golasecca, e Silvano Moroni de Il Colibrì Dimensione Viaggi di Sesto Calende) e numerosi sponsor, alcuni amministratori locali, tre rappresentanti della Camera di Commercio di Varese, il Direttore del Parco del Ticino piemontese Benedetto Franchina e una settantina di persone. Particolarmente gradita la presenza di Paola Dalla Chiesa dell’Agenzia del Turismo, che ha sottolineato la valenza dell’iniziativa mettendo in luce la necessità di promuovere il turismo in modo innovativo, mettendo in rete esperienze e competenze fra operatori. “Il Varesotto non è conosciuto e dobbiamo cogliere quest’opportunità di Expo per rilanciare il territorio e mettere in evidenza i valori della natura e delle nostre civiltà: quella di Golasecca ma non solo” ha spiegato Moroni, che farà da trait d’union fra i vari partners del progetto. “I pacchetti turistici che proporremo ai visitatori di Expo saranno costituiti da itinerari combinati, capaci di coniugare cultura, natura, sport, enogastronomia. Un turismo integrato che garantirà un’offerta variegata di beni e servizi per tutte le età, le esigenze e i desideri”.
Ma anche una valorizzazione del territorio a 360° per rilanciare l’economia e il turismo in un periodo congiunturale particolarmente difficile.
I Club di Prodotto (sei in totale) sono un’assoluta novità: un’iniziativa della Camera di Commercio di Varese molto apprezzata da Regione Lombardia che ha riconosciuto il ruolo di questo progetto pilota e messo a disposizione fondi (complessivamente un milione e 50mila euro per il triennio da dei due enti) ma che genereranno un indotto di investimenti per oltre due milioni e mezzo di euro.
Ecco in sintesi le proposte, che saranno inviate nei prossimi giorni all’estero (Gran Bretagna, Russia, Finlandia e Germania) dove operano alcuni promoters delle bellezze varesine:

Pacchetto 1 - La Biodiversità. Una giornata sul Ticino per scuole e gruppi;
Pacchetto 2 - Navighiamo tra natura e archeologia. Per società archeologiche, terza età e scuole;
Pacchetto 3 - Canali, sbarramenti e brughiera. Per gruppi;
Pacchetto 4 – Alla scoperta del territorio col Nordic Walking e l’Orienteering, per gruppi sportivi e scuole;
Pacchetto 5 – Settimana multisport (5 giorni). Per scuole, oratori, campi estivi;
Pacchetto 6 – In viaggio fra Ticino e Lago Maggiore. Specifico per scuole;
Pacchetto 7 – Varese la provincia del ciclismo e dell’arte;
Pacchetto 8 – Civiltà, arte, storia e buon cibo. Per gruppi culturali;
Pacchetto 9 – La natura in carrozza; per gruppi e famiglie
Pacchetto 10 – Outlet e l’arte del lavoro. Per utenza medio-alta;
Pacchetto 11 – Viaggio fra aspetti storico artistici ed enogastronomici varesini.;
Pacchetto 12 – Eventi e team building. Target medio-alto;
Pacchetto 13 – I tre parchi regionali della Provincia di Varese;
Pacchetto 14 – Un viaggio fra ville e giardini, il Liberty e i Giardini all’Italiana.

Proprio qualche giorno fa, attraverso il consorzio turistico al quale i soci del Club di Prodotto sono affiliati, sono stati inviati in Cina i primi pacchetti promozionali. Il mercato orientale sarà un’importante ed eccezionale protagonista di Expo 2015 e rappresenta un potenziale bacino d’accoglienza anche per le primizie turistiche varesine.

Scudo di Somma

The story begin like a novel.

Once upon a time in Somma Lombardo, during a quite dinner between friends, tasting good wine, three friend ask each other what they could do better, blending their jobs.

The baker said, "I'm the king of Pasta", the cheese maker said "I prepare the stuffing",and the Chef said, "I'll cook it!", and then in that warm evening of october , was born the "Scudo di Somma."

The baker was Alessandro Benzoni, the cheese maker was Emiliano Cecco and the chef was Roberto Mainini.

Three dealer,good friend, that blend their knowledge for build a new project for their town, Somma Lombardo (VA). 

They put ideas, the work and their imagine for made something that will represent the symbol of the "city of three lion", they created the Raviolo

"Our wish, was to mantain and give continuity at local traditions, we use for the filling the Sancarlino, a typical cheese of Varese Valleys, that in the past was blended with onions. For made it lighter, we blended it with "onion grass". The pasta is bicolored, remembering the colours of the symbol of town (3 Lions), yellow and purple (coloured with beet)" told Chef Roberto

"I'd tasted, simple , light , a product appreciable during all season," Chef Roberto said, "in autumn with mushrooms, scampi (small lobsters) and rosemary, in winter with a fondue of parmigiano and crisp guanciale, in spring with a pea pureè and smoked trout, in summer with lobsters and spinach"

1 The recover to a new destination of the old Factory of TJ Vestor in Golasecca, a building with an amazing view on Ticino Valley and Monterosa, an eccellent position for a ospitality structure
2 An area in Mornago , inside a strategic area for a natural park that can be connect the Cycling roads of Varese Lake and Comabbio Lake, to the Strona path, inside the Ticino Natural Park

PLIS Strona Bossa, a project for give a new life to a territory rich of amazing path through wood and brooks in a uncontaminated nature. The project would be try to connect the commerce of sportswear and sport equipment , in a village like the Oxylane center in France, where practice some kind of sport in a excellence ambient, connected to a new way of mobility, more natural , more sustainable.

Vintage Cars around the district 2012

Vintage Cars around the district 2012, the  october 15, a group of Vintage Cars and Motorcycles, started from Somma Lombardo, had rounded the streets of  the 8 towns of the district Malpensa Nord, in every place the pilots had meet the resident people during  a strong competition between old glory, driving and riding near the Verbano Lake, the Comabbio lake and the Ticino River.
